EXR in Photoshop

HI,

Has anyone managed to open an EXR file with render passes straight into Photoshop? I can't seem to get it to work.
I have tried using the free plugin 'OpenEXR' but still no joyI noticed a few mentions of this problem on the forum but can't seem to find any resolution.
I'm using Photoshop CC. 2014.2.2

Please help.
